From March 2, 2019 passengers in Excellence class of Glacier Express travel on new luxury BORCAD COMFORT seats. Project started in autumn 2017 and the final product was presented to customer in May 2018. Serial supplies began immediately afterwards.
Although the project was small in number (two cars, a total of 44 single seats), due to the prestige of the contract, it is another reference from the world of „tourist“ railway. BORCAD thus attributes to its account the successful conquest of the most attractive tourist train (except Orient Express), which travels across Europe.
